Regarding this piece, the studio writes: “Hosted by the Daegu National Museum, the Gat, Joseon Literati’s Refined Hat Exhibition is an exhibition that highlights the clothing life of Koreans under the theme of Gat, a traditional dress culture, and provides a view of the metaphor, symbolism, and social and cultural links of Gat. We tried to convey the theme of the exhibition by reinterpreting the external features and textures of ‘Gat’ as a visual motif.“
