Terms
Our website, social media accounts, and other platforms are solely intended for educational purposes. EAGA does not own the rights to the material featured in the archive, and is not responsible for any misuse. All credits go to their rightful owners.
Attributions
As crediting artists and designers is of the utmost importance to our team, we conduct extensive research on all featured material in an effort to attribute each piece to its original creator. Whenever possible, we credit the creators and owners of each piece, though this is not always feasible due to the constraints of digitally-sourced material. If you have an attribution request for a piece, or believe that a piece has been miscredited, please reach out to the EAGA team here and we will be more than happy to update the attribution.
Fair Use
Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research.
Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing.
Fair Use Definition
Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test.
