Excalibur is a Tokyo-based art collective that specializes in pixel art. In a dizzying display of landscapes, icons, and characters, this piece depicts reincarnation in the contemporary era, based on the ideas of reincarnation found in Buddhist mythology.



The team writes, “The information that is inflated with our emotions roars through virtual time and space, and the sleepless Shibuya district, known as ‘Bit Valley’’, continues to rotate with people sending and receiving messages to and from each other 24 hours a day.”
